A Day Of Pleasant Company

I still find myself to be a bit sad at times, but thanks to Amandine fr making yesterday such a wonderful and pelasant day. We had snow, we had sunshine, all seasons into one. I was awake early, took a shower not long after waking up and then spend time in my room, just hanging around. Around 12 or 1 Amandine told me she had woken up and was ready to go either into town or do the laundry after she would have taken a shower. Marion was supposed to come with us as well. but her mobile phone was switched off, so we couldn't reach her, which made me suspect she was in the silent area, level 3 of the library. Together with Amandine I first visited her place to see if she was home, then we walked to the library while it snowed and looked at every floor, but no Marion. Outside Amandine made another call and this time Marion's phone was switched on. Turned out she was in town with Heidi. Amandine and I went into town as well and joined them, but later on we split up as Amandine and I went to look for DVD's. After we went to both HMV and Zavvi, we went to Tesco where we met Alice. According to Alice there would be no buses anymore something after 5, so she told us not to wait for her and get on the bus before it was too late. Back in Parkwood Amandine and I went to do our laundry, spending time at her place in between. Heidi went running with Penelope, whom we met just before they went out to run. Penelope told us she had moved into Veronique's house now Analena, Vero's housemate has left. Penelope lives with only boys which sometimes becomes a bit unbearable, which is why she prefers to live with Veronique. The possibility was there, so now she changed houses. However, this morning at 4 am she left back to Spain. So her stay for now wasn't very long, but after she has returned she will really live at Veronique's place. But she invited us for dinner so afetr having washed and dryed our clothes we went to Vero's place at 9. Amandine picked up Marion and Heidi first who came by at Amandine's place as well in between our laundry session and after we went to take our clothes from the dryer. they went to Heidi's place. Penelope and Veronique had prepared a lot of things. There was rice, pasta, tortilla, mussels, some Spanish fish and other things. It was delicious and I enjoyed every spoonful of food. Then we just stayed and talked until Penelope went to bed and Alice and Marion went to the library. Heidi already left a bit earlier. Amandine went home and I went home as well. Now I started this new day and just finished watching The New World some minutes ago. It's one of those films you wished you saw on the big screen. It's really magical. I loved it, even though it has some flaws, one of them being its length. Well, the film isn't really that long, something like 135 minutes, which is not that unusual. But the film itself makes it feel longer. Amandine found the film to be slow, but I didn't think it was really slow in a way that nothing happened. It had this nice pace, like when taking a stroll down the countryside. But the film really kept things interesting and Q'orianka Kilcher who plays Pocahontas/Rebecca is sensational. She really manages to grow into her character, evolve. It was beautiful to watch her change. Tonight there will be a party at Veronique's place which will be fun. Apart from that i have no other plans just yet. I might keep this day simple. Enjoy yours!
